The first gay dating show was Boy Meets Boy, which aired on Bravo in 2003 directly following the premiere of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. While Logo is billing this as a first-of-its-kind show, it is really only the first gay dating show to feature an all-gay cast.

Bass married actor Michael Turchin in 2014 and the ceremony itself became part of reality TV with a special program all about the wedding airing on E! the following year. Former NSYNC member Lance Bass will serve as host.
